(the end of October – the beginning of November 2004)
PARADIGMS OF MODERN RADIATION BIOLOGY
The scientific program has been planed to cover current topics in Radiation Biology.
The Conference will take place in Kyiv (Ukraine). The Program of Conference will be deals with the following problems:
· Dualism of radiobiological responses – specificity and non-specificity.
· Targeted and not-targeted radiobiological responses & their threschould and non-threshould effects.
· Effects of low dose radiation.
· Polymorphism of radiation hormesis
· Post-irradiation recovery – repair, regeneration and repopulation.
· Ontogenesis and genetic radioadaptation
· Radiation-induced genomic instability
· Relative biological effectiveness (RBE) under external and internal radiation.
The Congress languages will be Ukrainian, Russian, English
For participation in Congress it is necessary to send:
Abstracts should be submitted electronically at the Conferences web-site: radiobiology.arbat.name
Registration forms issued in the Conference web-site will be accepted until Tuesday, 1 June 2004 and should be forwarded to the Conference Secretariat along with the advice of your full fee payment. Regular fee for participation in the Conference is 100 EUR, for students and accompanying person is 50 EUR.
